Shahroo Izadi

Behavioural change specialist and author

Shahroo’s approach to habit-change is largely influenced by the experience she gained working in in the addiction treatment field. It was there she realised that many of the same motivational tools and approaches helping those in addiction to turn their lives around were useful when trying to change more day to day habits too.

Through one-to-one sessions, talks, workshops and her books, she now hands over practical tools that help people to change unwanted habits. Her work focuses on building self-esteem, self-compassion and self-awareness, as well as planning well for change.

Shahroo’s private clients tend to be those who want to have an honest, upbeat conversation about their unwanted habits, gain some insight, pick up some motivational tools, and come out with a simple and clear plan of action to implement on their own. The one-off intensive sessions she currently offers enables them to do just this.

Session in a nutshell:

• You and Shahroo have an exploratory and insightful conversation that sheds more light on your unwanted habit(s). It lasts for 1 hour and 50 minutes
• You decide together what sort of plan of action would work best for you
• Shahroo creates you a bespoke plan to implement that's then sent to you within 48 hours.

After an intensive session, you do have the option to book ad-hoc motivational boost sessions if and when you feel you'd like to. These are 55 minutes long. That said, Shahroo will always insist that you give yourself a good chance to try things out on your own for a while first.
